Step by Step

How to vote for Manny.

Three steps. Five minutes. Done.

  1. Step 1

    Confirm you're registered Republican.

Nevada's primary is closed. Only voters registered as Republicans can vote in the Republican primary. Check your registration status in 30 seconds.

  2. Step 2

    Pick when and how.

In-person early voting (through June 5), in-person on Primary Day (June 9), or by mail — whichever fits your week. Same-day registration is available at every vote center.

  3. Step 3

    Vote for Manny.

On your ballot, look for Clark County Commission District E, Republican. Select Manny Kess. Submit. Done.

The Rules

Who can vote — and what to bring.

You can register and vote if you:

  • Are a U.S. citizen
  • Are a Nevada resident
  • Are at least 18 years old on or before Election Day
  • Are not currently serving a sentence for a felony

Nevada has same-day voter registration at all early-voting and Election-Day vote centers. If you're not registered, bring an ID — you can register and vote in the same visit.

Acceptable photo ID:

  • Nevada driver's license or state ID card
  • U.S. military ID
  • U.S. passport
  • Tribal ID card
  • Student photo ID with name and likeness
  • Government employee ID card

You generally don't need to show ID to vote if you've voted in person before. ID is required when registering on the same day, or in certain other situations. When in doubt, bring it.

A Note on the Primary

Nevada has closed primaries.

Nevada uses closed partisan primaries. That means to vote in the Republican primary on June 9, you must be a registered Republican.

If you are not yet registered Republican, you can update your registration at any Clark County vote center — including on Primary Day itself, through Nevada's same-day registration law. Just bring valid ID and your most recent residency confirmation.

Independents, Democrats, and minor-party voters can still vote in the November 3 general election, when Manny will be on the ballot if he wins the primary.

Tell a friend. The cost of one new registered Republican voter is about thirty seconds of texting a friend who's already on Manny's side but hasn't filed paperwork yet. Help him get them on the rolls.
